About Marlene

Hi, I'm Marlene.  I'm a former IT computer programmer turned emotional well-being coach, consultant & educator.

I specialize in the mind-soul aspect of holistic health and am passionate about educating you in the use of tools at the intersection of science and spirituality to empower you for the well-being of yourself or your organization.

Why I do what I do...

I worked in corporate America for over 30 years during which I experienced a health crisis due to my high-stress job.   I was out on medical leave for almost a year.  Through my recovery, I learned key, elemental ingredients to emotional health and emotional flourishing.  As a result, I have dedicated my post-corporate life to sharing them, at an individual and at an organizational level.  Why?  To help others avoid what happened to me... to help avoid the crashing of their emotional health and to help organizations shift from an emotionally limiting environment to an emotionally flourishing one.

Recent areas of study and practice...

Certified Heart IQ Circle Coach

using the energy of compassion for dissolving personal challenges.

Certified Conscious Business Change Agent

to help organizations transform and flourish.
This is accomplished at multiple levels through coaching, consulting, and by placing special focus on the organization's people, presence, and impact.

My two life philosophies that I live by daily are:  (1) Do what works and let go of the rest,  and
(2) Everyone deserves to live life to the fullest through free choice.

I believe we're in this life together on Earth for a purpose.  And from experience, I've seen that purpose gets revealed as we each relax into the best version of ourselves, but it starts with the choice to do so.  I believe in the potential of human beings to work together to make this world a better place for us all.  And I want to unlock that potential, especially in younger-than-me adults, because when they thrive, we as a society are better off.

I'm a spouse, cancer survivor, and mom with two adult children, one with special needs.  I'm proud of the capable and caring adults my daughters have become.  In my spare time I like to read about ways for improving our human condition, watch professional basketball, and garden... although it seems I mostly pull weeds!
